Orange Sauce

Orange Sauce is a very easy to make sauce which will perk up any dish where a little orange pizazz is needed. The key is to use fresh orange juice, preferable fresh squeezed, and a good quality orange liqueur.

You can make it sweet to accompany desserts and recipes like Panettone French Toast, or tone the sweetness down a bit to recipes like baked ham. 2017, Orange Sauce
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes

1 cup Fresh Orange Juice
2 Tablespoons Sugar
1/2 cup Orange Marmalade
1/4 Cup Grand Marnier

Preparation Directions.

1 Mix the orange juice and sugar according to taste in sauce pan and bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes until reduced by 1/2.

2 Stain the reduced liquid and place back into the pan.

3 Add the marmalade and Grand Marnier and mix well. Continue to simmer for a few minutes more to dissolve all the marmalade. Remove from heat.

4 Serve warm.
